[Progic] How to Upload Webcam Videos

Webcam Recording: How to Create and Edit Exclusive Videos Directly in Manager

Webcam recording is used to share exclusive content, such as a message from your organization's president, for example.

With Progic Manager, you can record videos directly from your webcam. However, to use this feature, we recommend using Firefox version 25 or later.

Chrome and Internet Explorer have a limitation that only allows recording videos without audio and with a maximum duration of 4 minutes.

Recording Videos with a Webcam

  1. Go to Content > Media > Upload and select Record Webcam Video.
  2. When your browser requests access to the webcam, allow Progic Manager to access your camera and microphone.
  3. On the Video Recording screen, you will see the image captured by your webcam. Below the preview, you will find the Play/Pause, Record, and Stop buttons.
  4. The Upload button will only become available after you stop the recording.
  5. Enter a Name for the video, assign a Group if necessary, and click Upload to save it. The video will automatically become available as media in the Media screen.
