# \[Progic\] Do I Need to Use Full HD Videos on Small Screens?
## Ideal Resolution for Small Screens: Full HD vs. HD
**Not necessarily.** On screens up to **22 inches**, the human eye can hardly notice the difference between Full HD (**1920 × 1080**) and HD (**1280 × 720**).
By choosing the HD standard for these screens, you gain two major benefits:
1. **More Storage:** HD files are smaller, allowing you to store significantly more content on your player.
2. **Better Performance:** The player can process files more easily, reducing the risk of playback interruptions or freezing.
Recommended Settings
To achieve the best balance between visual quality and storage efficiency, use:
- **Resolution:** 1280 × 720 (HD)
- **Bitrate:** Between **3 and 4 Mbps**
