[Progic] How to Upload an Image with Cropping

Fine-tune your images with precision: learn how to use the native cropping tool to achieve the perfect framing.

The Image Upload with Cropping feature allows users to upload a .jpg or .png image and crop it before saving.

This tool has been implemented across several screens that support image uploads, such as the Media Library, Logo Upload, and the Data Source screen when registering content for feeds.

Overview

You can access the tool by navigating to Content → Media → Upload → Image with Cropping.

Basic Operations

There are a few basic operations available on the cropping screen. The first is selecting and cropping an image.

  • Click Choose Image;

     

  • Select the image;

     

  • Click Open;

     

  • Crop the image by moving and resizing the cropping area.

You can also click an image on your computer and drag it directly into the cropping screen.

  • You may also add an image by copying and pasting it into the cropping screen using the CTRL+V keyboard shortcut.

     

  • Select an image, right-click it, and then click Copy Image;

     

  • Open the cropping screen and press CTRL+V;

     

  • The copied image will be pasted into the cropping screen.
