# \[Progic\] How to Upload PDF, PPT, and PPTX Files
## How to Convert PDF and PowerPoint Files into Digital Media
You can upload files in **PDF, PPT, and PPTX** formats. This option is part of the **Content** features package available in Progic Manager. See how easy it is.
Go to **"Content" → "Media" → "Upload"** and select **"Import PDF and PPT"**.
A new screen will open. Click **"+File"** to select a document from your computer, as long as it is in **PDF, PPT, or PPTX** format. Once selected, click **"Upload File"** to upload it.
When the upload is complete, go to the **"Select pages to generate media"** field and choose which pages from the file will be created and made available in your content library.
After that, fill in the **"Name"** field. Assign a **Group**, if necessary, and adjust the **Display Duration** for each media item (page).
**OPTIONAL:** Media can be generated into two types of lists:
- **Generate Playlist**
- **Generate Subplaylist**
Click **Save**. You will then be redirected to the editing screen for either the **Playlist** or **Subplaylist**, depending on your selection. There, you can choose additional media items to add to the list and then simply save your changes.
> **Important:** A media item can only be deleted from the **Media** screen if it is not assigned to a Playlist or Subplaylist. If a Subplaylist is assigned to a Playlist, you must first remove it from the Playlist. Then, delete the media item from the Subplaylist, and only after that will you be able to delete the media item itself.
