[Progic] New Manager Access Policy

Progic is committed to your security and continuously reviews its information security and personal data protection policies.

Starting on September 18, 2023, the policies related to user logins and passwords will be updated.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will become mandatory.

This means that whenever you access Progic Manager for the first time on a new device or in a new browser, in addition to entering your username (email address) and password, you will also receive a verification code by email to confirm your identity. This code must be entered during the Progic Manager login process.

This verification process may be repeated every 30 days. The interval can be configured by your account administrator.

Another important change is that Progic Manager will require user passwords to meet the following minimum security requirements:

  • Minimum length of 8 characters
  • Must contain numbers (0-9)
  • Must contain at least one lowercase letter
  • Must contain at least one uppercase letter
  • Must contain one special character

Important: These measures do not apply to customers using Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, where login is integrated with authentication providers such as Azure AD, Okta, or RH-SSO.

If you would like to learn more about these authentication models, please refer to the articles below, which provide step-by-step setup instructions:

How Can I Prepare for This Change?

Starting on September 18, 2023, Progic Manager will require you to create a new password that complies with the security criteria listed above.

In addition, from that date forward, Progic Manager will automatically require 2FA verification the first time you log in.

No action is required if you have access to the email account associated with the user account you use to access Progic Manager.

Important: For teams that share user accounts (for example, communication@companyname.com), it is extremely important that new users are created and that each user account is unique.

Sharing user accounts to access Progic Manager introduces information security risks and is not a recommended practice.
